Moving can be very stressful, but General put my worries to rest. I was worried about a lot of different things in the beginning and Damian made me feel safe and secure about everything. He answered all of my questions and helped me understand each step. Once I arrived at my destination in Texas I only waited for the moving truck 2 days. I was surprised since I was told it could take up to 2 weeks. It was great, once James and Altan arrived it was strictly business. They moved everything quickly and diligently. Everything was put where I needed it and they made sure to tell me each box # in order to account for all items. They communicated everything that I needed to know. It was great to have them. I appreciate all of the movers that helped in New Jersey and in Texas. The stress level when moving is always high and General Moving Carriers really made me feel at ease. It really makes a difference when you have movers who relay everything they are doing to you so that you understand. I have nothing but good things to say about them.

I used this company to move my family over a year ago. I never knew moving multiple states could be so simple. Their prices were reasonable, but the service was incredible. Best moving company I have ever used and they've since moved my sister and cousin, both happy customers. If you care about your items like I do, I would suggest going with a quality company like General moving carriers.

Using General Moving Carriers was the best decision I made. Other movers quoted me lower prices, but when I asked them to break down the costs, I could never get a straight answer. From the moment I called General and spoke with Stephen, all my fears were alleviated. Stephen spent 30 minutes going through the information bit by bit and taking a full inventory of the items to be moved. This was not the same for other quotes, they were given in minutes with very little information provided, and that was a definite red flag. On the day of the move is when I realized that the crews were just as good as the front office. They were educated, efficient, polite, and made my move an absolute pleasure. I just couldn't believe how Carlos and his crew maneuvered some of my heavy furniture down two flights in a tight corridor, simply amazing! Overall my experience with the company would be graded with an A+ and I would definitely recommend using them, if you care about your things that is. Take it from me, General Moving Carriers lives up to they're slogan, "Moving Simplified".

These guys are simply the best!! I must admit I was a little apprehensive at first, being that this was my first move. Guy put my fears to rest immediately by going over all aspects of the move with patience. His estimate was actually over the final price by $100, talk about a pleasant surprise. The crew that came to move me on that day, Carlos, Ronnie, and Steve were kind, careful, and motivated. I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone looking to move!!
